Hosting laboratories for the JMN students are identified
members of the Neurex network and listed in the 3 partner federations
of neuroscience:
The ITI-Neurostra
The ITI-Neurostra (former IFR 37) federates 36 research
teams in 11 laboratories, namely, CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), INSERM
(Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale) and IGBMC (Institut Génétique Biologie Moléculaire Cellulaire), working in many fields of basic and clinical neurosciences on topics concerned with the functioning of nervous
system, from a molecule to a living creature.

The Basel Neuroscience Program (BNP)
The Basel Neuroscience Program was established
in 1996 by scientists associated with the University of Basel, the
University Hospital of Basel, the Friedrich Miescher Institute and
the local pharmaceutical industry.
Today the BNP networks in Basel more than 400 scientists from over
40 research groups that cover a wide spectrum of topics in neuroscience
ranging from basic, clinical to applied research.

The Neuroscience Federation of Freiburg i. Br.
(NeurAG)
Association of neuroscientists of the Albert-Ludwig
University of Freiburg, NeurAG was created in 1991 in order to develop
scientific and technical interactions, to coordinate neuroscience
teaching programs and to inform students, researchers and public on
the progress of research and on the research performed in Freiburg
laboratories.
NeurAG is especially dedicated to research on neuronal differenciation
and neurotransmission.
